After
the short mid-season break to get the Accenture Matchplay underway, WGF
2012 was back with a vengeance this week with the final major of the
season, the US PGA Championship. We’re through the first two rounds of
the event so let’s take a look at who’s been “top of the class” and
who’s been “playing like an ass”.
Leading the way, we currently have one of the Deviations founding member’s and old school WGT’er, Zant.
His remarkable consistency over the course of the season has seen an
exceptionally strong start to this tournament with a combined score of
55. With 18 holes to go though, lots of players are still in contention
and other strong performers who are on his coat-tails include Bigknight, Ryan4Spurs, Madloopy and Kriztjan.
The Tour’s loveable rogue, TonyTurbo78
is also in close attendance and many have been wondering what the
secret of this late season burst of form has been from the long-term
drinking partner of John Daly. When a reporter approached him on the
driving range at this week’s event, it was noted that he had a hip-flask
labelled “Jimbean’s Jimbeam” within touching distance at all times.
When the reporter asked him a direct question about said flask, he
hastily grabbed the object, hid it down his “colourful” threads and was
heard to mumble under his breath “my precioussssssssssss”. Many
questions have now been raised in the media as to whether Jimbean346’s late season collapse in form can now be directly attributed to TonyTurbo’s return to the tour. The jury is most definitely out on this subject.
Quick
note from Dougie and myself; little to no posting issues so far this
week. I’m quite along way behind on the warnings but pretty much
everyone who’s playing now won’t have one against their name anymore.

Dazza & Frealzu:
we've tried to pair all tiers together but due to the how things have
fallen, you've been paired together. If Frealzu wants to use a marker to
get his round played on tournament speed greens then this is fine but
please could you then mark for Dazza's round.

WGF Tour 2012 - Week 11
US PGA Championship
We've reached the final major of the season which will play out alongside the ongoing matchplay tournament from Week 10. All players are able to participate immediately in the US PGA Championships irrespective of where they are up to with W10.
There's no mandatory equipment requirements and all rounds are ranked as with the three previous major events. Play hard and fight for those tour ranking points as we're running out of tournaments now prior to the Week 14 Tour Finals.
As with previous weeks, the scorecard and greenshot needs to be submitted by one player from your group. As there is no equipment restriction this week, only one person needs to do this but please take a backup shot just in-case. All players need to still submit their own scores using the link provided.
