Hey guys, is anyone around to play/mark round 3 for me?

If you are playing it to be your scored round be aware that it would be on Championship greens :)

Just over two hours to go until close of play is reached. There's seven players still outstanding so if you want to have your score counted, you need to get started fairly quickly.

As things stand, it looks like we're heading into the 4th playoff of the season with Stevenharkin and Zant facing off to decide the winner of this event. With Ryan4spurs having to make up 15 shots to take the title, it definitely looks to going in the direction of a playoff.

I don't think I've now got enough time to find a partner and shoot the round :(

Ryan, if you haven't found anyone, feel free to invite me (no probs if we'll have a little extratime)

EDIT: Ryan invite me, so we are playing atm (#4 at 11.35 AM GMT). With the creepy ball boost feature too :D

Well it looks like Ryan is on the course officially playing a round of speed golf. Only time will tell whether he can make up the shots needed to take the final major of the season.

All I know is that a low score will completely ***-up my already written, close of play address :)

Well James, I did try my best to ***-up your report, and being -8 through 10 holes, I did think I had a chance. But didn't finish as strongly as I was hoping and could only manage 11 of the 15 shots I needed.

Huge thanks to Luciano for taking time out of his day to mark my round for me. And sorry for being a little late on the deadline, although I have now found that the ball boost feature really isn't to my liking at all.

    Close of Play

The final major of the season has finally come creaking to a near close. Two true legends of the game sit astride the throne awaiting to be named champion. Zant kept us his form from R1 and R2 to hit a great score of -28 but a bull-like charge from the newest Irish golfing sensation, Stevenharkin has seen tie the lead with a stunning final round of 55; a brilliant effort given it was on championship greens. Please look to arrange your sudden death play-off ASAP (ideally within the next 72 hours would be perfect) using the following course:

    Congressional Back 9

If you both can’t get on together, then both use markers to play this round. The cards need to be PM’ed to me and I’ll compare to work out the final result.

The legendary tales of Hugh Hefner’s two unknown offspring continued this week ultimately with calamitous results for both. Wildboy Kurtsbuford fresh from his druken “shutting up shop” bender still freshly in his mind decided that going it alone was the right course of action for R3. Having got to the tee at 5.30am before everyone else had arrived at Congo, the greenkeeper was the only living person to see a naked Kurt screaming from the middle of the 1st fairway, “I promise I won’t cheat!”. Sadly Kurt has not been seen since this escapade. Stories that he’s living in a tree on the right of the 8th tee at Congo with a pack of killer squirrels are still being looked into.

Kurt’s slightly chubbier and pastier half-brother, TonyTurbo78 had an equally eventful third round. Much of what “our Tone” had to say after his round with Terbal is unprintable but as he swung from the balcony of the clubhouse hip flask in hand, the media did catch a loud Tony proclaiming “well its getting to be a friggin’ joke”. We can only assume that he was discussing how Funkyjunkie3000 manages to still be near the top of the overall standings.

Tour standings will be updated once the playoff has been finished. Credits are as follows:
