I had so many problems with meter glitching during my hits/putts. During a game someone told me to try Safari. I'm a fan of Apple and hadn't thought of downloading Safari to my Vista laptop.

So I downloaded Safari. It fixed ALL the meter glitching. Flash play is awesome with this browser. Download and try it out!

I have run a mac the whole time I have been with WGT & the Safari browser, I have had zero problems. Not one or two  ZERO.

I did.  The meter glitches with Safari are different than Comodo Dragon but worse...putting for me was impossible.  And the glitch happened every stroke, especially bad on putts.

I don't have that many meter glitches normally but I thought I would try this to see if they were gone completely.  Oh well, back to CD.

I will comment that it seems strange that the meter glitches always start when my score goes some below par.  You'd think the game was intelligent or something and doesn't want things to become too easy.  Nahhhh...couldn't be right?

all are suggesting things in good faith but they are all ***! metering is inconsistent, and mosly because f the wgt site being overloaded! i have had it analyzed by a good friend in  the indusrty, and e advised, that if it meters, get off and play another time! wgt is interested in MONEY!!! period! they dont give a *** bout the palyer period! note how balls roll waaaaay donhill n putts but our drive stop 1/2 way down the hill. strange huh? good game, certainly better than any other, bt still totall *** from a competition aspect. too many varied resultsan inconsistancies. dnt spend a nickel!!!

I agree.  The inconsistencies are really annoying.  They happen within the same game.  You can have a 10 mph wind from the left and it does nothing but a 2 mph wind drives the ball off the course.  Or the putting where sometimes a slight tap sends the ball off the green and other times it goes no where near the hole.  I've reached the point where I will not spend any more money on the games.  Once the money in my pot is gone I won't put any more in.  I may continue to play but no Ready-go tourney's.

No I tried pale moon. It was awful. the meter was so choppy it looked like it was trying to dance the cha-cha. For me and many others it is Maxthon 3 followed closely my Comodo Dragon. And Who ever said that the meter problems are because of server overload has no clue. The meter is rendered entirely locally on your PC and 95% of the problems can be traced to either a poorly configured PC or a browser that just doesn't work well with Flash.

I use Safari also. My single play mode is outstanding. Mac is a Mac Pro 2x3 GHz Dual Core Intel Xeon with 14GB DDR2 ram. At home I use an iMac dual core with 4GB ram. Same thing at home. Single play is outstanding.

As soon as I play a multiplayer game it all goes to hell. Meter studders, load timeout errors that takes 3 "try again" attempts before it loads. That usually happens at least twice a match in AS. Match play load errors don't happen as often but the meter is still a POS.

I've been fighting multiplayer game issues since I can remember. I can't figure it out. I do know it gets really tiring making the same old meter excuse when you shank a freaking wedge or miss a 5 ft putt because you get a skipper.
