Not so much to say over our match, considering that Ally, JC and Rich just said what happened. Everyone was able to play many outstanding shot but me.

From #4 on, every hole was quite a show.

Ally and JC birdied #5 from two tricky sides (Ally 20 ft. high right and JC 12 ft. past hole on the left), then Rich birdied #6 from upper right side - 14 ft. - with me and Ally both at 5 ft.

Guys said what happened on #7, with Ally's eagle from 26 ft. above the hole on the left.

JC and Rich were cold enough to play two great teeshots at #8 (3 and 5 ft.), and we both missed our birdies from the middle range.

And at #9, it looks like a CTTH Contest: Ally at 3 ft. with second and then JC and Rich were both inside his ball, with 2 instant replay. Me? I was lost over the green.

TYVM again guys, it was a great match and I had enjoyable time with you all.

Honorable mention for Ally; it wouldn't be fair if I don't say he fought all alone vs USA Team, with me as a dead weight all the round through. The ROW half point is all thanks to him.

Another match in the books.  And another halved match. It was an ugly match. Noone had their A game out there and several bad lipouts.  The wind set minus #7 was terrible too. Oh well, that's golf.

Jordan had two crucial 2's for team world on #3 and #7.  I started strong, but unfortunately I play at work, and they didn't like that this hour as I was constantly interrupted. Had a warning on #4, then was scrambling to get shots in the rest of the way. Big sorry to team USA and my playing partners on that.  Unfortunately, it is the risk I run with these long matches. Demetrio and Phil played solid and each had a few timely birds.

Cheers to my Ryder Cup BFF Phil for our undefeated run through team play!  Fun playing with you.  Good luck the rest of the way everyone. Looking forward to singles matches.

Indeed, a hard match today as the greens were super icey!  Jordan made a great tee shot on #7, 4 yards off the pin on a (par 4) to take the lead with a very beautiful 11 foot eagle!  ~I hope you saved that replay~  push out on 8th hole.  Both Jordan and Dem had tough putts on #9.  Jordan's putt was dead at the hole but came in a touch hot.  I thought it was going in.  I managed to bird the last to go back to AS for the final score.

Great match you guys, ugly or not.  I thank you for the friendship, and look to play soon.

JC, it was a absolute pleasure to be paired with you for ALT and BB games. Undefeated we are!  I would pair with you anyday!

    Here is the final card.

    Ciao, LC

Finished a good quality game where the pin was under assault a lot of the time- nowhere more than the 15th where Pool was putting first from no more than 5 ft and we very nearly saw a HIO, 1 of many great shots from Becky. Andy and i were keen to avoid a repeat of our alt shot match though and kept it together to win 2&1 with birdies on the 10th and 13th making the difference. Thanks to team USA for another enjoyable game played in an excellent spirit

Thanks for sharing this description and card, Ally.

I was privileged to listen in on the WGT chat for the closing holes, and to get to see this shared replay of an incredible putt by Andy that helped secure the match on the 17th.

I'm really appreciating everyone's efforts to broadcast these exciting games to the community at large (thanks to Hans & LC especially).

Anyone out there who's not following the chats or livestreams... you're really missing out!

    Warmly, Corwyn

4 matches of the second session (best ball) are yet to be scheduled, please try to play them at this weekend if that is possible in any way!

    Another match in the books:

Best ball with the players Villa&Hans vs. Marc&Dan

Was a very good game, only Marc had some trouble getting started. Dan played it down very solidly and kept us in full control. No holes were won by anybody and still it was a nice match and chat. Highlight of the game: Villa's escape from deep trouble at #16! A must watch, terrific shot. A/S at -8, was a real pleasure =)

    Cheers, Hans
