I must say that I do not feel very welcome.

Why are we excluded from certain tournaments?

I cannot access any of the tiered tournaments (Master in this case)  - the reason given - your country or state of residence does not allow you to participate. That is lousy. You come up through the ranks, spend hours on the game, spend even more money on the game constantly upgrading and buying form the pro shop, but hey, what do you experience? Banned form the tournaments that pay!

My money is welcome, but not I !

Oh, and why is the excuse that the Laws of your country preventing you from entering certain tournaments always being used? Why then am I allowed to play ready-go tournaments?

America wrote YOUR laws?  That's interesting.

Those RGs are going to get expensive if you keep poking the bees' nest.  :-D

"As of now, anyone arrested in South Africa for gambling online or playing online games—via Piggs Peak or elsewhere– will face up to ten years in prison and be ordered to pay a R10 million fine. Yikes—they don’t mess around there."

I live in Florida and am forbidden to compete in the tournaments that award credits, as well.  Each state has its own laws regarding on line gambling.  The truth of the matter is that I enjoy playing the game and never had any notion that I could profit from playing.  I simply play the game for fun.

I know of a few South Africans that regularly compete in RG's to win credits so why not you?

I think his point was about not being able to play in tiered tournaments. Why can he play in RGs and not tournaments? That SA law is a bit strange if they don't consider RGs gambling but tiered tournaments are.

Why do you Americans always exclude other nations from tournaments?

I cannot access any of the tiered tournaments  - the reason given - your country or state of residence does not allow you to participate.

Stadig ou Kameelperd - it just seems to be the Master TIer Tournament and the Multiround ones that gives us South African's that message. Maybe you could try to email WGT about the Master Tier tournament  (I am allowed to enter the Legend Tier Tournament) - but there are plenty of other tournaments out there to try to win some credits.....most notably Ready-Go's which we ARE allowed to play.

Maybe it is because the Americans are such sore losers? I am proudly South African!

You may be proudly South African - but I cringe when I see you spout this nonsense ....

I have a lot more in mind reading that. If the guy had anything to be proud of, he'd find out what he was talking about before making himself the fool and accusing any others of being sore losers.

Thank you Yankee Jim. I actually would like to retract my statements about Americans. I was just frustrated. My point was exactly about not being able to play in the Master tier tournament. I however do not view it as gambl;ing. You pay your green fees and collect your prize at the end if you are successful. Wouldnt one's own club tournament also be illegal then if you share in the kitty for i.e 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize? Just asking.

    Cheers,

Sorry for all the Americans I offended, but didnt they design this game and wrote the code? Well anyway I would really like to contact WGT but cannot find the link to do so.
