Ball Taken after a free drop

  Playing on St Andrews first hole today and pushed my tee shot right. The ball came to rest on the stone edge of the burn. WGT gave me a free drop due to immovable obstruction and then took my ball. I could see the ball and in real life if it stopped there I could hit the ball, please refund my gi-sd ball. i sent bug log but wanted to post here also.

  Send an e-mail to WGT, you might have better luck.

  I've had a similar issue on STA where it says "free drop" just like it says "on the fairway" or "on the green".

  Then it just redirects back to the original shot location and says "lost ball". lol

  The same thing happened to wilducrest on hole 17 at andys,his ball finished on road it came up "immovable obstruction free drop"it then took him back to original shot position took his ball

  ditto here, except on hole 18, where my drive rolled up nearly against the right-hand side fence--not out of bounds. so, i get an immovable object with a free drop. The result??? it took my ball and, to add injury to insult, as it were, put me back at the tee to redo my drive. that's unacceptable imho, not only because of the 'lost' (stolen is more like it) ball i have to pay for, but also because of the de facto added stroke to my shot total.

  WGT--pls give me my ball back, and fix this glitch!
