Thanks for marking my round Corwyn.  Left a good three shots out there between missed putts and not recovering from a couple of meter skids.  An Olympian effort required in final rounds.  G' luck all.

Just marked for Colm (cmdking) this morning, and he played beautifully after a slightly rough start. He really made "the loop" count, going -4 round the turn (#8-12), and was unlucky not to turn in an even better score. A couple of meter jumps cost him bogeys, and it was a long while before any putts dropped. But he really hung in there and had patience, which seems to be the most important thing in this format.

So Colm records our best score so far at St. Andrews, and gains a shot on our leader Hans, with one round to go. Can anyone catch Hans?!!!

Here are some backup pics (which are a little bit more legible).

    A fun round... Thanks Colm!

I'm going camping for the weekend, so won't be able to mark for anyone else at St Andrews. We still have 7 players to play their 3rd rounds. Hope you're getting connected with each other!

Anyone wanting to schedule their final rounds, please feel free to plan games with players close to you on the leaderboard as much as possible.

Thanks everyone for being part of this fun tourney!

My normal partner is out of town and I still need to get in the 3rd round at St. Andrews.  I'm EST but can pretty much play most time zones with a little heads up in advance.  Thanks

    Can anyone play with TeeWade?

FYI: I've updated the Leaderboard, and WallPosted gentle reminders to all the remaining players for the 3rd Round.

Cool. Other than painting the front porch, I should be able to get on around then.

                        Thank you

Were you able to play, TeeWade?

Looks like no-one played over the weekend... Is that so?

I'm happy to give a grace period of 48 hrs if people are actually scheduling their 3rd round, but if you can't get the games played by then, then we'll have to assume you're dropping out.

For 4th and final round, I'll assign playing partners in the morning. Leaders should certainly try to play together: Hans and Colm (cmdking); Buffers (Kurtsbuford) and Cerino; Corwyn and Macduff10 (if times allow); John (oneeyedjohn) and Russ (ColumbusStorm). So, these players, please feel free to try and connect and schedule the final Olympic round for this week.

I'll figure out pairings for remaining players in the morning, hopefully with more info on whether or not we still have the other 7 participants.

    Thanks everyone!

Third round inofficial standing at the end of the official time.

As for late entries see Corwyn's previous post.

As before, I have only taken those players into account who completed all rounds. Missing side scores have been set to 0 and 111 respectively. There's no evaluation of ties - simple excel sorting and numbering from 1 to 14.

This time I did a little stats work - rather interesting I think:

    Wee Tough It Out stats:
    ----------------------------------

    1) score comparison: the average avainst Par is almost invariably +4.7 to +5.0 between the rounds.

    2) GIR was about 48% in rds 1+2, then 67% in STA

    3) Average distance had been 26.0 in rds 1+2, is 30.7 in STA

    (#2 without the NR scores)

(scorecard deleted because of possible error)
