    Round 2 for Funkyjunkie3000 and I. FJ was sensational. Iron play was awesome which made putting v easy!! GG and score! V forgetable for me after 2 big lip outs mid-round killed it

    Sorry James. Nightshift and daytime sleeping got me.

    Added to the fact that no wgf`ers are usually online when I get in from work to mark or play.

    No probs Stu; you'll have extra time for the Tour Finals due to the extra holes you'll be playing so shouldn't struggle to get finished hopefully.

    The Barclays

    Round 3 - Cut

    We’ve finally reached the last cut of the season as next week’s Tour Finals sees each group of players competing against each other over four rounds. Please be aware that R3 this week is played over 18 holes. I’m happy for players to split this up into a F9 and B9 if players are limited for time.

    The first two rounds of the Barclays has seen the dominant players come to the fore. Priestess shot into an early lead like a whippet up a trouser leg hitting an excellent combined score of -15. No-one has surpassed this effort but Mr. Consistent, AllyKennedy is hanging around like a bad smell being only one off Tess’s leading mark. Excellent scoring by players such as Terbal, Madloopy and jcgfree have left them well positioned to move up the tour standings into higher profile events in the Tour Final week.

    Kurtsbuford was back to his normal haunt this week (the 19th hole) having just come off the back of a hard round at Oakmont. He was heard to proclaim that Priestess is so determined to hold on to her WGA / WGF Tour Champion title that she’s taken to “using witchcraft out there”. Digging deeper into Kurt’s tall tale, our reporters have discovered that there could well be some truth to this matter. Tess’ bag on the practice range has been seen to be adorned with three doll-like figures - one in a kilt with Ally written on it’s forehead, a second drapped in an Italian flag and with Demcug on it’s back and the final one looking a lot like a donkey with FJ3000 on its a*s.
    Rumours that Tess was seen to be smashing the donkey with her pitching wedge are still to be proven but FJ3000’s opening score of 32 could well back up this claim.

    Round 3 pairings follow in the link below. Please remember this is an 18 holer so will need extra time to get your game played. F9 and B9’s can be played separately. Please look to get your rounds organised ASAP.

    Round 3 Conditions
    Course = Best of Famous (Full 18)
    Hole Location = N/A
    Tees = Champion (Hardest)
    Green speed = Tournament
    Winds = High
    Lies = Even
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    End of R3 = Monday 1st October 2012 at 3pm GMT
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Please use the link below to find your designated partner. Try to make all attempts to play with this individual but if it's not possible use the following method:

    - use one of the ten R3 Markers (named in original WGF thread); markers are to remember that their first round counts as their R3 score

    - if not possible, use a WGF Tour player who you have not partnered with during R1 and R2

    As a little precursor to the tour finals, I will let you know that there will be one curveball round and the rest will be fairly standard. There won't be any use of uneven lies however just to relax your minds on this front :)

    @Jim - I need to get my round played tonight as I'm away til Wednesday after that. If I can't get together with my marker I'll try to use one of the ones you've listed.

    Colin; I'd suggest looking out for RussellFahey as he's needing to play with a marker as well. The other option is to try to tag along with anyone who goes out early for the R3 and to play it as a three ball. Bear in mind that'll take a good three hours given that it's 18 holes.

    I'd cover you but I'm shooting off for the weekend myself in about 15 minutes time.
