maxthon 3 update help

  my maxthon updaited the flash its self 2 day and its crap cant remember the last number but my new 1 is 11.3.300.271 how do i go back 2 the older 1 i think the old 1 was 11.1.102.63 but not 100% sure ty any help is appreciated ty.

  Just a guess, but try to install an older version from www.adobe.com.

  Anytime you use a 3rd party program you should always disable auto updates right after you install it or during the install process when it asks you if you want to auto update as most software's give you that option during the installation.

   

  Now I am wondering if this is something new from Maxthon3 because I did an update few days ago and they did not update the flash program . 

  Also if it is not a security update for a particular software stick to the old saying of "If it aint broke, dont fix it".

  Only Security updates are essential . Just FYI for those that have not a clue.

  ty for replys i wasent wanting it 2 do an update but i couldent figure out how 2 disable auto updaites plus im not gr8 with computers pretty thick 2 be honest mmm what now???

  Unrelated question: Do you backup data which would hurt if lost?

  Not sure that's possible in Maxthon because the flash pluggin( as far i am aware isn't accessible ),I would suggest uninstalling Maxthon,Uninstalling all flash you have using flash uninstaller,do a clean up on yer pc and any left overs with ccleaner , then reinstall Maxthon,

  This version is listed on the Adobe Flash archives and can be found here

  http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

  They're Zip files so you'll need a utility prog to Unzip the files, hope this helps

  ty all for your replys much appreciated tys i just baught this pc 2 weeks ago and theres nothing on it i just play wgt on it and i did a back up disc yesterday what a mission that was im stupid with comps lol so i wouldent loase any info but this new version is growing on me just close all other windows and its fine the meeter is deffo slower with it 2 ty all who helped me much appreciated tys.

  The only way to stop Maxthon3 auto update is to rename the Folder in program files after you install it and recreate the shortcut to desktop or delete the task in windows start up right after you install the program. Its too late for either now :( 

  You could try using this link HERE to revert the flash player version first . You can also go HERE for Maxthon plugin tool that will do the same thing.

  Above is a 3rd party software and should only be downloaded from the site I provided. Also I cannot be responsible if you do anything wrong but worst case scenario you would just have to uninstall Max then reinstall that will also help you out. 

  There you go for no extra charge.
