Or, may I add, from the late George Carlin, aka Al Sleet, the Hippy-Dippy Weather Man:

Tonight's forecast...DARK. Continued mostly dark tonight, with widely scattered light in the morning.

Hey WGTAlex just a quick question.....

On the 1st page of the post you said, "The wind variations for each particular tournament are the same for everyone who plays in your tier."

In the week 15 nine hole tourney the wind variations are not the same.  I have played it a couple times and I have had the wind on the 1st hole has been at my back 1 time and in my face twice.  Is this because it is unlimited play?

Hi truth, what I meant by "variations are the same for everyone in your tier" is that if for example the wind is set to "medium" for your tier, then everyone will get about a 11-14mph wind (in any direction). This is just an example--we don't necessarily have this wind setting at these speeds, but this will give you an idea.

Lighting never strikes the same spot twice...The wind should not be the same speed and, or direction from shot to shot.

Keep up the good work !

    Realism is key.

    Enjoy you play

23 mph winds? Why not have a tornado touch down while your at it?

So I have been playing practice rounds with different wind speeds low med high etc....

get to the tournament and winds are 25+. At least put those wind speeds in ranked rounds

and normal play so we get a chance to play them.

Sorry pretty bogus just throwing those out in a paid tournament or at least inform before you enter what the maximum winds will be...

Also you need to work on your putting breaks, they are very inconsistent as to the

actual break vs. distance depending on the time you play, how a

put stops on a 12 in down hill when putted at the exact distance of the hole I will never know.....

The wind strength is listed for each tournament after you register for it.  The course and wind conditions(Low, Medium, Strong etc, are provided before the tournament is started,  so it's not like they just 'threw it at you'.  Besides, everyone has to play in those conditions for those tournaments, so it can hardly be considered unfair.

There are some tricks to learn for putting. Don't expect that after a few short rounds you'll have it all figured out.  There is in fact nothing wrong with the putting system, you just have to pay attention to all the variables to get the correct read.  The greens are actually more true to how they read than they have ever been.

Well that's a given, believe me most of us know this stuff....but the putting in this case was a bug, I'm not new to this game....unless they are factoring in the 25mph wind on putts. I was 15ft...pin down 8in....hit it the 15 foot power on putting bar...yes I know the putting bar....and it stopped way short.....sorry buddy this was complete bs in a tournament
