Need to get both sides of the story before judgement

  You Know Q ( & E1)... In another thread you posted about this kind of thing stopping. I agree it should. Recently I got my hands slapped so to speak for getting sucked into the same type of thing and admittedly I went beyond the bounds of what I should have. My advice is to let it go and move on as ulitimately this will just keep escalating and in the end serve no purpose any more than it did in the beginning. There really is no joy in mud slinging and every one deserves their opinion and yes some people goat others into responces but that doesn't mean you need to respond, especially negatively. We need to recognize the vast majority of negative posts stem initially from just out and out frustrations with occurances that happen in their gaming and people vent by posting that.  If out of that you see something that can help that person then try to do that in a positive way. If they or others don't care to take the help and want to keep venting then let it slide and move on. No sense in adding fuel to the fire. IMO In this case it is more about someone venting regarding what another has posted previously and could have eaily been taken care of mono e mono without drawing others into it and left nipping at each other. Every one of you have had and continue to have very good valueable information to pass on to others in need, if we all stick with that then think of the kind of communtiy that could be built.

  About 1 :  It hardly ever happens to me.  I have no more excuses on how I got carried out by the urge of reacting ... specially when I know better.

  About 4 :  My main concern that really fueled me (behind the scene).

  About 7 :  Again; the time, the thought, the energy and the excellency of your words shown on this whole threat, not mentioning your respectful tone and tolerant manners, reflect my most naive desire for a good "virtual golf community", with good players on the field, that behave even better in the 19th hole.

  About 8 :  That's the only tricky part that makes me sad sometimes, that no matter how carefully one can think and choose the most intelligent and respectful words and ways to express or share one's thought, someone will (almost always) want to throw a stone into our peaceful pond just to see the waves.  From my end I assure you that there's no way I could feel offended by your "two cents" (as you called it) of GREATNESS (as it should be called).

I appreciate your taking what I had to say in a good way and yes my post was an attempt to turn the direction of the thread.

  LOL, no need to try to sanctify anything I wrote as I have been as guilty as anyone on here in slinging mud at others or being snide in my reply to the comments they rightfully have to say, whether I like them or not. After strong deliberation on my part I am making the personal choice not to do that any more and concentrate on making what I have to say and post in a more positive light. Your regard in the matter would be greatly appreciated.

  By no means I attempted to change your "sayings" ... anyone who wants to read your thread, can just go back two notches to your original publication, and get your whole message with no interruptions or "manipulations" as that seems to be your concern.

  Dissecting text selecting what caught the most attention to the reader, not only is a very common and civilized practice, but is in a way an exercise of freedom, and since I did not copy these dissections to use them with malice in some other site, under other context, publication or situation, I think that there's not such "fragmentation" of your true words, meaning and intentions on my part.

  Funny that any supportive attempt that anyone tries to do towards cleaning our acts a bit in our misbehavior on these "posting 19th hole ambiance", must be torn apart some how with dark sided humor, stubbornness or mere sarcasm.

  No one was trying to crown you as a saint, neither your words ... it is called detached gratitude for your good vibes and advises.  Besides, indeed your tone has very surprisingly yet humanly changed to a more "normal and not saint-like mode" with this threat, so you're fine ! - (and you are not the devil now - either ok?)

  As you very wisely advised, using a different selection of words, let's drop it now ... I am really enjoying playing virtual golf.

  Ps :  Can't avoid to thank any respectful confrontation, due to the uncontrollable, yet funny, ramifications this whole post took through the different threats, cause in a way helped me very efficiently to forget and get over my original misunderstanding with irishrose ... lol ... thank you all ;)  Be blessed !

  I will only say this to everyone on the forum this subject is closed.

  But just remember this when you were playing someone on-line over the period of time was there or was there not times when you absolutely  have had lost it because they made a bad shot and quit and also quit when other players were winning and you and they disconnect right on their turn be truthful.

  But remember this never vent what you would like to say to them on-line as they would like to write a soap opera about the whole event.

  Just before I close on this subject is there or is there not times you when you were put your cranky pants on and vented your anger because someone quit because they had a lousy shot or when other people are winning including yourself and they wait when their turn comes and they quit freezing everyone out.

  Be honest now everyone I have had over the period of time had people vent there anger at me because I quit but I did this due to having emergencies at home but have been sworn  at but took it on the chin.

  But now everyone take heed never upset anyone because they will write a novel and publish it on this site about you so now lets take advice from OLDBAYRUNNER.

   TIME TO MOVE ON  SUBJECT CLOSED LOL FOR FUTURE GAMES.

  About 1 :  Yahoo ! … it sounds great to me :)

  About 2 :  Awww … let me think … mmm … nope.  When I was a PRO or a TOUR PRO and something like that happened I simply ignored so much about the whole thing that I would just let it pass with no extra load on my shoulders.  Now, as a L90 Legend I know better about tolerance, and plain self anger control … so ... nope !

  About 3 :  …. yes, specially when that “soap opera” ends up revealing your weakness of mind and spirit, because you are just following the path of those who insulted you previously, instead of going for a higher road or simply respecting and being prudent …It must be hard to be exposed in true colors in a “soap opera”, and know that every line matches with one’s consciousness, and still fight against it out of pure stubbornness … yes ... It must be hard … very hard.

  About 4 :  Yahoo ! … it sounds great to me :) … again !

  About 5 :  Oh ! … I thought it was closed for real ! …. Ok let me see … Awww … nope.  I can be disappointed yes.  I can even go to this person’s wall and write a nice line encouraging him/her to keep trying if the disconnection seems an obvious quit, or to ask if there’s any tech advice one could offer if that was the case …. But the way you put it … nope.  Freezed games have nothing to do with a quit, it has to do more with system problems from which the game should be able to recover.  I bet WGT must be really into fixing these types of problems. “Winning” ? … strange word selection when character, good fellowship and fun are the only tangible things anyone could possibly win by playing any game unprofessionally. "Defeating" is the word to use in your case.

  About 6 :  If only this was a courtroom …. That would be a confession :  “I claim to have gained the right to spit at anyone now, when they simply seem to have quited a game preventing my two cents of glory-acquitting-reward by defeating them, since others have spit on my face before due to my quits, not minding my home priorities ..... (tears) and I took it like a girl” … Self explanatory no comments on this beauty …Thank you !

  About 7 : Just read my “About 3” … only switch “soap opera” to “ novel” (upgrade!). We both must give credit to Mbaggese for the contribution with the word “ novel” … just in case of copyright claim … you never know !
