Anyone figured out chipping and sand play?

  game will not let you chip -- will not let you put enough spin on the ball-- if your in the rough forget it -can get out at all -- no distance controll can't figure it out either !

  I'm afraid that the basic clubs are poor on spin and certain shots. A few Dollars worth of investment will be sure to improve things.

  I find it easier to chip from the fringe than putt.  For some reason, you have to use the 60 ft. putt from the fringe no matter what the distance is.  Would be nice if we could choose which putting length to use.

  You CAN select your putter range, wlp! WGT defaults to a high range when your ball is off the green proper, regardless of actual distance to hole. Just use the scroll wheel on your mouse, or if mouse-less, there are range change up and down arrows at left of meter scale. Either method will give you a range that you want.

  Once upon a time putting from fringe was impossible, but WGT FINALLY fixed that bug. you can putt from fringe but need to add 1 - 2 feet over and above the usual calculated putting distance for an 'all-green' putt.
