    You WDed?

(Just wondering why I fail to find your entry, not even a Bethpage RG around?)

Furtheron, I fear that a Pro can't compete in an open RG.

My proposal is to wait for the next tier (coming soon!) and choose a TP RG at first.

I played in a Pro RG.

You tied for 4thh place in your first RG. Very nice job. :-)

Thank you. I feel like I played my butt off and too see level 60's still pro shooting below 30 is a little disappointing. : (

Ah - Cabo, not Bethpage. I started to fear for my eyes!

Furtheron, WGT seems to have hidden the score from Ang's result list - very conspirative!

@ang: My congrats to your fourth place, well done as a first-timer!

About the winner (27 strokes), a level 65 pro with Tour Master average:

He/she seems to have played "normal" as until becoming pro - may have gotten some knowledge then:

A few months pause (for what purpose?), then only CTTHs, mostly one per day ?for the bonus?. For the last two weeks, with little deviations, he plays Pro RGs with 29s and 59, 27s and 57s and gets his rake: 8 starts, 6 wins, 2 places, 59 $. In between one 46 (9 holes), perhaps the futile attempt to keep the average up.

Best equipment, lvl 59 Pings, Rossa, Cally balls. The activities are cut off but we might think that he's been a good WGT client, having bought a lot of level boosters.

I'm far from accusing so. without proof, but this history seems to be - ehm - discutable.

The second, a level 62 Pro with Legend average, shot 28. He has a similar carreer:

2 months pause after becoming Amateur, good but not extraordinary results until then. Best amateur result was a 33, worst(!) Pro result is a 32. Makes you think, eh?

Pings lvl 59 + four(!) wedges...

Doesn't waste any ranked rounds, 5 wins and 3 places in Pro RGs,
    current rake: 72 $.

Played the 500 crs September Pro Tier Open on the last day and won with a 58 => a boost of 10.000 crs to come!

In between leader of the 100 cr "September multiround open" after three rounds. He missed to play or complete the fourth, leaving the 2.000 - 4.000 crs prizes to others.

Here, too, not more than a few ???, but I'm ready to bet that their next accounts have been prepared already.

Both are likely to continue their raking in the next tiers, or will they stay in easier fishing grounds?

Edit: 60 days CDP bonus for one hole played gives about 53.000 XPs, traceless, eliminating the costs of a bunch of boosts. Just saying...

I played BP Pro RG first. It's last on the list currently.

You should take a look at the dude who came in 2nd in that tourney, now there's a real peach. Did that on his 2nd day as a member, lol. And most likely got banned on his 5th day, unless the fact his username doesn't show up using wgt players search means something else? That's got to be a record of some sort.

    Could be a restart.

The scores are shown only after the tourney is filled. And looking at some scores, I fear any amateur (maybe even hack) can enter open RG's and most likely play them from hack tees.

Obviously the RGs were still open when she asked, and only a Pro would have seen the open Pro tourneys.

I'm sorry that my wondering appeared as disbelief - it was lack of information.

You are right, some of the scores and histories are plain ridiculous, but the tees should be uniform in a non-tiered tourney. The pseudo-Legends only have an advantage in the low level tourneys - those two examples of mine show it quite well.

Unfortunately, all those regular Pros entering their proper RG are fish, seemingly. In addition, when WGT takes measures against sandbaggers, they won't disturb those supposed multi-accounters: There's no sandbagging involved.
