Did you just update your Avast antivirus?
I only ask because after I did I could not play for 2 days also.
Not sure what happened but it works fine now.

i have emailed wgt and im waiting for a reply
i have not updated my antivirus software lately - i do receive some funny error messages on the laptop some maybe this has something to do with it
