the "green" ones are a bit more realistic now,
but the orange and red ones are still way too extreme,
I'll get an orange sidehill lie with the ball below me feet,
I'll move my line some 60 degrees to the left, add 2 clubs,
and it will still be some 50 yards short and freaking 90 degrees to the right.

    thoughts anyone?

    speaks for itself.

pounded it with a punch using an extra club,
moved the line all the way against grid dots to compensate, and...this:

also I should mention that even the slightest movement of the grid dots,
when the ball is on the fairway, takes so much of your spin distance and loft,
that it seems like you play from the 1st cut and NOT the fairway.

still very extreme response from bunkers, sidehill roughs, bunker face,
and the yellow-red grids, which I know should be hard shots, but the response
of the ball is often hilarious and completely defies gravity.

Thank you for the feedback.  We are going to continue to make improvements to uneven lies and we will definitely consider the items you mentioned.

    some more feedback:

distance seems to be reduced by 10-20% across the board in UEL mode,
on the tee-box, flat fairways, etc. (also trajectory).

Most of the time one can compensate for uneven lie based on your stance and ball placement.  I never had to aim 60 yards off centre, playing from the rough with a slight sidehill, downhill lie.  I'll adjust my club face, ball position, and stance to compensate.

Thus, even if I was off the green, knowing how the green breaks, I will aim the shot based on that, not on the lie!!!!

That is where I am at with uneven lies.

yep .. i've said it many times, rolling out uneven lies into ranked before getting it close to what happens IRL would be a huge mistake ..

what would be even worse is rolling it out without shot shaping abilities ..

i also have never adjusted my aim IRL towards the neighboring state because of an uneven lie .. it's about clubface adjustments, stance, etc ..

Seems better, but still needs a lot of work.  I feel like there need to be less of an immediate impact on the shot, and more impact on ball flight.  In other words, less change in the immediate shot direction, and a little more curve in the ball flight.  Also bunker shots are still basically broken, significant work is still needed in the bunkers.  I wouldn't even know what to suggest to fix it.  Keep tweaking though, I would like to see this work out.
