I was reading over the tournament information and came across something. "The top 70 players will receive 10,000 WGT credits. Is this a typo? There are only 10,000 in the pot, right?

    The bottom part confused me.

It looks like a typo.  Clarified in the rules section:

    Tournament Rules

It appears to be US only.

Same old crap time and time again....rest of the world players get shafted..

Free comp.....decent prize....US Only......go figure. Is the 10,000 credit prize comprised solely of US players' $$$ ?

    World Golf Tour my jacksie.

There are a ton of companies throughout other countries in the world (there is life outside of the USA)  that would jump at sponsoring a WGT tournament and it would give ROTW players a chance to take part in similar type free comps with decent prizes....so why has this not been done?

This issue has been raised repeatedly by various ROTW players to no avail and it appears WGT could care less about players not sporting the stars and stripes or this show of bias would have been dealt with long ago.

    Just Sayin'

Would WGT allow folks who play on here and run their own businesses to sponsor a WGT Tourney for 10,000 + creds?

There must be a way to do this.

    I'd be up for it.

I'd imagine the main issue is that the marketing department deals mostly with US-based companies rather than O/S ones. I don't know what the demographics of the site are in geographical terms but that's almost certainly the most profitable market.

    you're probably right....

but it seems a waste of resources when we have many folks playing wgt who would be willing to sponsor similar tourneys for 10,000 creds etc.

maybe WGT can look into this.
