I haven't had any problems with any of the Adobe Flash update versions and even backdoored the newest one into my Maxthon3 browser. However if your using Chrome and update it you will need to go back into Chrome Plugins and make sure the Shockwave with pepper player flash is disabled still.

I sent this to Maxthon yesterday:

"Yesterday, I d/l'd and installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player:  11.4.402.287.  My Pale Moon and Comodo Dragon Browsers show I have v.287 installed; however, my Maxthon3 browser v3.5.1.800 shows I have Flash Player v 11.4.402.278 installed.  Why is that?"

    Got this answer:

"Thats the version that comes with Maxthon for use in ultra mode. Using retro mode will use the version you have installed for IE."

Hope this helps.  I am running Maxthon (beta) 3.5.1.800

Maxthon3 doesn't auto update or update flash at all since it's basically an Html5 browser. The only time it will have a newer version of Adobe Flash is when they come out with a new version. Which by the way they have a newer beta version 3.5.2.600 (beta) Check on the forum. That one still has flash 11.4.402.278 also. In order to update to the newest Adobe Flash you have to back door it into Maxthon3. I upgraded to the newest Maxthon3 Beta and back doored the Latest .287 version of flash into it and it works fine.
