I like the % rating, but it needs to be altered so that you don't lose any of your % if everyone quits within 3 holes or so, why should my % be affected, when I join a game it's because I wan't to play with other players, but if they all quit I'm not going to play the next 6 or7 holes on my own.

If you forfeit trough the main menu it does not count. if you are left on your own.

I have this personal policy :  Every single time in multi-player games, I break the chat with good humor and try to find my best words to generate commitment among all the players, to finish the game despite competition and scores. Fellowship builds as the game advances in such a nice way that when I or someone else makes a bad shot or gets metered (gotta love that word) the nice atmosphere provokes certain easiness that somehow allows the whole crew to complete the game (98% of the times that is).

On the other hand, WGT should find a way to not quit on us either.  Any blitz or stroke game should be able to recover from other players' quit and allow us to finish despite their lack of commitment, or their computer-flash-internet problems (gotta be nice and not judge others when we have experienced involuntary disconnections too).

Bottom line : Yes, players must have more consistency at finishing games, and, WGT must have more consistency at finishing games too.  50/50 like in a shrimp boat  ;)

There are only lebenty-zillion threads about the percentage.  Even if a person is too dumb to search, you would think they would stumble on one merely by entering the forums.

But that's just me and my random thoughts.  Carry on and be glad you weren't here a week or two ago when it was much worse.

There are new Hack players every day that are barely learning how to read, judge and perform while playing.  There are new posting readers/writers that aren't entitled to know what the experienced ones know by now and they have the same rights we had when we asked the same questions they are asking today. Let's just be tolerant, patient and if one doesn't want to coupe with new blood's thirst for info (re-reviewed by us so many times already) then one doesn't just get in their path of learning and growing.  Be happy for knowing what you know and remember what made you learn what you know too.

IMO, if  you're the only player left on the field,
you shouldn't be obligated to complete the round anymore.

I guess others think so too:
