What to the putter statistics mean?

  I have used 6 puters since I started playing WGT and was wondering that the Forgiveness, Precison and Balance actually mean? I am trying the new Max putter with 3.5 forgiveness but if I miss the ding by one pixel it still goes pulls or pushes off course? I have no idea how high precision and balance effext the putt? Anyone...

  hi

  balance means what is the chance that putt keeps it's balance after it's hit and not sway off

  precious just how precise the putter is

  forgiveness is when you miss ding, will it have a chance to stay online or not.

  but Icon, here's the thing.....

  it's unclear from the above, at which end of the "dot count", is the most forgiveness.

   

  given that we read left to right, generally start at 0 and count upwards, the above statement is saying how much the ball will lose. 

   

  having tried the nike putter for a while now, the slightest of mis-hits causes the putt to lose vast distance and direction, yet the daytona loses very little.

   

  so.... as the op has asked... what do the putter statistics mean ?

  Thanks for the info but if you miss the ding on a put by even one pixel the ball will not travel straight. Thanks.

  Spider/Ghost putters.  I don't hit dings often and putt just fine.
