Unlike you who just keep using something you know does't work well and blame WGT's code!

The point is:  It should work.  But it doesn't with WGT.  However, it (FF) while works nicely for me everywhere else.

How can Chrome be the most widely used browser in the world and not work with WGT?  You think the whole world disables PepperFlash?

Andy you make a good valid point, the meter should be rudimentary at most, FFS the meter should be able to run smooth on my fridge.

I can torch 200 guys with a flame thrower while 60 helicopters are flying overhead and have the chat box going full blast, with mp3 playing and outlook, word and excel running in the background without even a hint of hiccup.

But if I happen to f-art playing WGT the meter hiccups.

I'm cool with chrome with pepperflash disabled.... its like nothing's changed.....same as ever.... down to brain function/internet variables - and the odd comet - or cosmic ray...

but clearly a serious issue for chrome and WGT.

Yes they did for quite a while! It was widely reported that PepperFlash was causing issues with a whole range of Flash based games.

That's history now and I tried Pepper on about 5 0r 6 other flash game around a week ago and it worked fine.  But we still have problems on WGT with Pepper.  Why is that?

I've just played 3 random holes at Kiawah with PepperFlash re-enabled and everything was fine. So good in fact that I had an eagle on hole 3!

It would seem (at least for me) that any issues with PepperFlash have been resolved and as you say consigned to history.

    'grats on the eagle!

I've had intermittent luck with Pepper on WGT, long enough to use the built in Frame Rate Counter to measure the FPS used by WGT.   Then the next time though, it was back to the stutter and late clicking.

I think WGT recommend disabling pepper flash in all browsers, not just Chrome.  Could be wrong on that but who cares...................I had a pop up message from WGT when I first started saying we notice pepper flash on............Sadly we are still a few years away from everything in IT just being standard, and so it's just the way it is.  Personally I like Google Chrome and simply disabling Pepper Flash no issue for me......works perfect after that!

Late clicking through stutter could be many issues..............I had the issue for  while.......turned out an intermittent fault with my router.............maybe that helps maybe not....a note out of courtesy though!

One day. One lucky day Mr WGT will browse through these forums, stand up behind his ULTRA-AVANT
    Laminated
    Simulated
    Replica-mahogany desk
    With the strategically-placed
    Imported, very hip water pipe
And the latest edition of the
    WHOLE EARTH CATALOG
    And activate his agile mind
    Thereby unleashing a spectacular
    NEW IDEA
    To rejuvenate WGT's limping economy
    And provide
    For bored, miserable people everywhere
    a great new
    METER
    To identify with!

Yes, Frank Zappas original is slightly different, but I picture Mr WGT to pass Ms Snodgrass in the reception on his way to his office in much the same way as Greggery Peccary once did.
