I have just played a tourney in my CC.

When the meter stuttered it only did it right at the click point. Shot's were going wherever they liked and I couldn't get a ding or birdie for a gold pig!!

Finally I birdied the last to finish with a 34.

And it drops my AVG from 62.5 to 61.14 !!!!

    WHAAAT??!!

WGT has messed up big time trying to please everyone by stopping the sandbaggers, without losing level up boost profits.

I wanna make Legend......BUT NOT YET......I'm not ready and my equipment certainly isn't.

If they're gonna start forcing players to Legend then they should unlock the pro shop completely once players are Legend.

I'm sure there would be a massive surge on top level equipment that would more than cover boost bars and drinks, that only pander to the sanbaggers they say they are trying to eradicate anyway!

    EDIT:-

    It's happened.....They've screwed me over.

How can you go from 61.14 to 60.15 by shooting a 63???

Well I just have and they've made me Legend!!

    I'm L63 for christs sake!!

How the hell am I going to compete with L59 clubs at best?!

    LUDICROUS!!!

Whoever at WGT thought this one up is a buffoon!!

Your taking a 90 on the front side of St A yesterday was interesting. ;-)

I did it on purpose, I'll admit it, trying to up my average and give me maybe a few more days upping levels so I could hopefully get to some better clubs before I was forced to legend.

If you look at the middle part of my post, I said I want to make Legend....and TL if possible.....but not yet, cos I'm not ready.

If you look at some of my other scores I've done it more than once, because I realised something crazy was happening when I was losing a massive chunk of AVG after shooting a relatively normal score, yet i shoot a 29 and lose .2 or something.

Hey, let me at the top stuff and I have no problem with having a go at the top guys, not saying i won't get my ar5e handed to me, but at least we will be competing on a level plain.

But forcing me to Legend at my level, with my clubs and not allowing me to use top clubs, is like the PGA forcing a decent amateur onto the tour and making him take on the best with some oversize cavity backs he got from the local sports outlet.

    BONKERS!

Not nearly as interesting as the 155 he carded last week...right after a 56 on St A !

    Who's the buffoon?

Looks like they got this one right.

    Don't.

Play practice rounds and get used to longer tees and faster greens. Play CTTH. Don't risk credits. Collect the consecutive day bonus and you'll level up quickly enough.

Even if your game play is legitimate (I'm not going to judge one way or the other) there is no reason why the company should cater to your situation. There have been many warnings from more experienced, very good, very respected players. You had plenty of opportunity to heed them and slow down.

unclenewy is a prime example of why the changes were needed...

Something I hope WGT is doing for all legitimate competitors is monitoring the opening of new accounts. When someone gets promoted under these new rules they should be scrutinizing the addresses to see how quickly a new account opens from the same internet address. A lot of those who have been preying on others are probably not even complaining, opting instead  to remain under the radar. They're just opening up new accounts and repeating the process.

I know it's not particularly difficult to avoid that type of detection but it is just more easy tool available to WGT that might catch a few.
