Who would be interested in a 10k matchplay league for 16 very good players (usually the people who can afford 10K. LOL) Where its spread out over 15 weeks, every one plays each other once with matches once a week and who ever is top of the league gets say 97500 credits, 2nd 32500 credits and 3rd 20000 (and WGT 10K cut)
18 holes matchplay, so say "kriztjan" beat myself 2 up, Mren and bollox was a/s after 18 the league would be like this (using holes as "goal difference" in football (soccer))

And continuing for 15 weeks until every one has played each other once. And If top 2 players have same points then winner will be decided by "HOLE DIFFERENCE" And although its a high initial stake, we will all get to play 15 matches so its not that expensive in long run (unless we make it 15K buy in. And all is important is being able to play who ever your opponent is for that week within a time limit of a week and that you are able to play once a week (regardless of what day or what time its up to you and opponent to find suitable time) and that you CAN PLAY for 15 weeks and that you are not thinking of going to ANTARTIC for 3 weeks holiday. Or another option would be to release all 15 of your fixtures and courses at the start so if you feel like playing all 15 in 2 or 3 weeks then all your points will be added to league asap and its up to remaining players to play at the "normal" pace or if they also would like to speed it up, then its up to you.
