LOL I ddin't make my 1st hole in one till two days before I made Legend and still haven't come close to a double eagle.
Diego all sound advise. Another thing you can do is pla ether practice rounds with low wind or us the Course feature under WT community and play different holes from different courses. Play flat ones at first and get an average distance for each club with the ball you use. Then you can jot it down so you know the distances your clubs are hitting. With starter balls play close attention and take notes on the amount of roll you get on your approach shots as you can't get back spin with those.
For head winds, tail winds and elevation I calculate a little different by dividing those by 3. Adding for up elevation and head wind, Subtracting for tail winds and down elevations Ie. 135 yds distance 10' elevation 12 mph head wind
135 + Ele (10 / 3) +3 + HW (12 / 3) +4 = 142
So for these yds using a starter set you would need to use your 6i 50yd club. If you take 142 / 150 =94.6% So that is the percentage of your meter to use for the ball to hit that far. That is without taking into consideration the roll factor. So you would need to adjust for that. For this shot with that elevation the ball may land at around 136yds and roll to as much as 153 yds depending on the slope of the green.
For side winds it is a little harder to calculate to be precise but play with a couple yds variation at first. Direct side wind is effected very little
Another factor is if you use bottom on the ball it will knock off appx. 4-5 yds off your shot s you need to figure for that too.
As you read in the forums there are other calculations you can use to refine from that later on as you get better equipment... hope this helps
