'New messages' notification system

  we should have a "you have new messages" box or window,
  or some other form of notification for that, other than having the message button go green.
  some people don't seem to notice that they get new messages,
  I'd like to see some sort of alert or an active  notification system,
  that will get the user's attention when he logs in.

  I agree, the messaging system here in WGT is not only BROKEN (you cannot select multiple friends for a single message)

  But it is lacking aan adequate 'alert'.

  It should be seperated from Invites and given its OWN area.

  I come across MANY, who dont realise the GREEN message button indicates a new message, and many again of these who find it difficult to actually recognise the UNREAD so they can finaly get the GREY button back.
