Surely it can be done..............

  .. .. I know this has been written up to the max over time and I have read pieces sometime ago about it but forgotten, but is there any basic reason conditions in all Tournaments cant be the same for each player..?

  .. .. Is it logistically possible or are there other reasons I'm unaware of that it hasn't been implemented ..?

  I think the explanation they usually give is that they do not want players sharing what the conditions were with each other. So a player who was aware of wind strengths ahead of time would have an advantage in regards to setting up his bag and so forth. If I recall that's the reason they give us random winds, I guess I can see the thought behind it. But as we know in high winds if one player has the good wind and another s**t wind then it's awfully unfair. In low though its pretty much fair all the way around.

  .. .. yes,  those words have a ring to them I have heard before GS.. .. but you n I know each other n have played a few games together,,, could I pose to any combatant that they give information to help beat their score regardless of mateship..???  I wouldn't give the smell of an oily rag to anyone, friend or foe............

  I agree, that would be unsporting. But I guess others would, at least WGT thinks so. One  reason I like low wind is that every1 more or less has same cards to play with. I still won't win but at least I had same chance as every one else playing.
