I have been experimenting with the g13-s balls against my favorite g12-s balls and I find little or no help from the the new balls. Would like someone's second opion.

I too tried the GI-3 ball. The problem is that you can't get a consistent meter speed on a daily basis.

I know that Lisa would have, but make sure you have cleared you cache. New stuff does not work right until you clear the old files.

I too see very little difference between the G12's and the g13's, and I cleared all caches prior to my testing. Using a stopwatch, I timed each shot duration from max power to the sweet spot. I took 15 data points for each ball and performed a little SPC (Statistical Process Control). The average difference between the two balls was around .23 thousands of a second. Maybe wgt shot consider making it a full 3 dots instead of 2.5.

Thanks for responding. Soulcatcher sugested I clear my cache. Which I'll try. I'm as

inconsistent as my meter so I have trouble blaming the meter.

I noticed a pretty big differnce.  With the i15 irons it is nice to slow the meter down just a bit more.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Since I hit the Master level I used the G12-S balls and found my sweet spot hitting very sporadic, some days better than others but since changing to the G13-S balls the difference, to me anyhow, is quite stark, the swing meter is actually under my control again and I would recommend that if you using the faster meter Driver and Irons and struggling with inconsistant "dinging" then try these balls they work.

A couple of months ago when i turned master, i also had 2 surgeries on my arms. I bought a master driver and irons about the same time to cope with the riggers of the masters tier. Because of the faster meter speeds i couldn't use the SD balls, which i loved using with the Rapture clubs when i was a pro.

The G13-s ball was my choice of ball to get me through this torrid time, but other than slowing the meter down, i found it really hard to judge the distance and its back spin was crap. All in all the last few months have been no fun what so ever, i mean how could they have been. I had inherited faster greens , longer tees, spastic arms, meter speeds of the charts and balls that seemed to have a mind of there own.

It looked liked the misery was here to stay..........when last night  i stumbled upon a ball called the G1 SD !!. This ball is unbelievable and here's why.

Because of the one dot slower meter,  the 2 dot extra distance and the 2 dot extra back spin, i am now able to get the full length out of the driver. I've gone back to the rapture irons and consequently iam hitting the the ding line 95% of the time. i am able to judge distance much better, which means i am getting closer to the hole and making more putts.

Since last night, after i bought the balls (im just saying to make a point ) i hit the flag 3 times, held 2 chips just off the green, held a 48yrd wedge shot to make par (saved) got a totally separate (to those shots) Eagle, Oh yea 1 of the flag shots was a 192 foot putt ( saved), had a 12, 12 and a 10 putt count on St Andrews back 9 ( a personal record ) and a 31, another personal record for the back 9.Then i deliberately made 4 scrambles to get the Ham and Egg award.

Now i am going to have a wank, but i won't be thinking about the usual," NO" i'll be thinking about the G1-SD balls ....and so should you.
