I have bought two sleeves of the Pro Max balls.  So far FOUR of the six balls have been basically STOLEN by WGT - going into ponds, or into weeds, or out of bounds, when there is no earthly reason why those shots should have ended up there.  I've even made some of these very same shots will 250 credit Callaway balls that ended up with me losing a Pro Max ball - IDENTICAL SHOTS that were made numerous times with the Callaway balls.  Yet somehow the "better" ball doesn't make the same exact shot and disappears in the weeds or falls short into the water, etc.

It seems quite clear to me that WGT wants people to buy these Pro Max balls simply so that they can TAKE them back with incredibly ridiculous (and illogical) shots which miraculously go into ponds or out of bounds for no good reason.

I love the slow meter on these balls.  Fabulous idea.  Great, and wonderful and all that, but I won't waste any more money on these balls if all you folks at WGT are going to do is let me hit them a few times and then (unfairly) TAKE them from me. Not when they are being priced at the outrageous cost of 600 credits for 3 balls (and only have 2 for durability - they SHOULD be 3 or even 3 1/2 durability at that cost)

I still have two of these Pro Max balls left and I will use them until they too somehow miraculously disappear into the weeds (or water).  But that will be it for me.  The other four balls ALL were taken after only a few games at most.   One didn't even make it through even two holes.

And if you plan to suggest to me that I am just a poor shot - I'd urge you to consider that my driving accuracy is a solid 83.82 percent and my Green In Regulation percentage is also a very solid 81.64 percent.    These balls are not being lost due to poor shots (I'm hitting them just as I intended - right on the mark - yet the balls are disappearing into the weeds or the water, etc., for no good reason at all).

Not trying to sound like a know it all and I am far from being one of the better players in this game,  you have been a member since the end of Aug of this year and show appx.  27 total games played that you have posted as of this post and who knows how many that you haven't, even with your having L58 G20's your experience isn't long enough to know how to play the courses or have the distances of your clubs/balls wired as well as more experienced players which is typical. With that said your odds of losing more balls is higher just like everyone else that is new to the game. I can't tell you how many balls I lost when I was new to the game. So it might be better if you to play lesser expensive balls till you gain more experience using your current clubs. It will be less costly in the long run. I rarely lose balls now unless I am trying to do shots that I know at my level of play can cost me. Some of the keys to this game is learning the courses and course management.

WGT doesn't steal balls you lose them through your game play and that has nothing to do with how much you paid for them. Do some get lost due to what we call VEM ? Sure but those are far and few in between. The odds of having Identical shots, similar sure but not Identical, of the exact wind, wind direction & ball position in the exact same spot is astronomical in this game. Usually when one does get lost it is due to some variable that was overlooked prior to taking the shot even if you hit your mark. Hard to advise without knowing what course and holes they were lost on. I see you play a lot of St Andys and Kiawah,  those two courses have some holes that are notorious ball catchers if you don't play them right.

You will get support from some other players that lose balls that also want to claim WGT is intentionally taking them from them to bolster sales but sorry that is just not the case. If you lost 4 out of 6 then you need to analyze what, where and how you lost them to insure the next time you play those the same thing doesn't happen again on those holes. No one likes losing balls they have purchased so I feel for you in that regard but writing posts such as this only makes you look like a sore player.

I bought some credits and got the free sleeve.  I was curious, however, I hit the ding even less with these lol...

For fun after I am done playing with the max ball,  I will play a round with the free starter ball.   Meter should seem like mach speed lol.

If you were upset that you lost a ball in the weeds, and could not go get it, you may have an argument. There are so many variables that like oldbay states you cannot know for sure what you may have done wrong. Kiawah if I miss by just a touch will eat a ball in a heartbeat. I can't remember the last time I lost a ball, but when I do it's because I tried a shot I know I shouldn't have. Hang in there it does get better.

Yes exactly what he said. You are still a newbie, as I would call it. I mean I lose balls also, everyone does, but just because you lose a few balls doesn't mean you should go complain about it. Keep trying. When I lose a ball, I just suck it up and keep going, even though i'm not happy because i just lost a ball.

I have read some crazy things in forums over the years but this is for sure on my top list, maybe WGT had something to do with disappearance of Earhart or possibly Hoffa:)

According to WGTIcon, if we all clear our caches and change browsers they will both reappear...  :)

I've been using them since they came out..and apart from one 'crazy 5/6 days' they are no more likely to be lost than any other ball that I've used..(which is most of them)..Andy
