I have bought two sleeves of the Pro Max balls. So far FOUR of the six balls have been basically STOLEN by WGT - going into ponds, or into weeds, or out of bounds, when there is no earthly reason why those shots should have ended up there. I've even made some of these very same shots will 250 credit Callaway balls that ended up with me losing a Pro Max ball - IDENTICAL SHOTS that were made numerous times with the Callaway balls. Yet somehow the "better" ball doesn't make the same exact shot and disappears in the weeds or falls short into the water, etc.
It seems quite clear to me that WGT wants people to buy these Pro Max balls simply so that they can TAKE them back with incredibly ridiculous (and illogical) shots which miraculously go into ponds or out of bounds for no good reason.
I love the slow meter on these balls. Fabulous idea. Great, and wonderful and all that, but I won't waste any more money on these balls if all you folks at WGT are going to do is let me hit them a few times and then (unfairly) TAKE them from me. Not when they are being priced at the outrageous cost of 600 credits for 3 balls (and only have 2 for durability - they SHOULD be 3 or even 3 1/2 durability at that cost)
I still have two of these Pro Max balls left and I will use them until they too somehow miraculously disappear into the weeds (or water). But that will be it for me. The other four balls ALL were taken after only a few games at most. One didn't even make it through even two holes.
And if you plan to suggest to me that I am just a poor shot - I'd urge you to consider that my driving accuracy is a solid 83.82 percent and my Green In Regulation percentage is also a very solid 81.64 percent. These balls are not being lost due to poor shots (I'm hitting them just as I intended - right on the mark - yet the balls are disappearing into the weeds or the water, etc., for no good reason at all).
