In true Cabo fashion, that round made me want to punch my computer screen. 5 nasty lipouts that were 90 degrees or greater. But the best was saved for last. My approach shot hit hole high with a touch of bs, and rolled down to 23 feet away. My birdie putt coming up the hill went just above hole high, lipped out and proceeded to roll all the way back to 18 feet away. Dinged the par putt back up the hill, a slight lip, but then stops 0.9 feet above the hole and does not come back in the hole. Maddening. 58 was all I could muster. Even if half the lipouts drop I'm relevant again. Instead, still faded into the middle of the pack. Sigh.
