    R9 SuperTri 8.5° Driver (L73+)

    or

    G20 10.5° Driver (L59+)

    Which one is better?

i have the upper lvl G20 .. had the Lvl59'er as well ..

i'd suggest stick to a driver which is close to the mtr speed of ur irons .. makes for more consistent stroke play ..

once u grab the upper lvl irons with faster mtrs, Burners @ lvl 79, R11's @ lvl 90, then think about grabbing a driver with a faster mtr ..

Incidentally, i have the R9 supertri as well .. very unforgiving, not very accurate .. stick with what u have for now ..

I had and used the R9 Super-Tri for about a year and would not recommend it. I never could consistently hit it just right.

definitely G20...better to give up a few yards to get some better accuracy, forgiveness and loft.

For distance alone the SuperTri is better, But with its RPM ( Rocket propelled meter) that accelerates at the end it is very difficult to use well. Frankly I would wait for the level 80+ 280 yard R9. It is a very good driver and is more precise and forgiving than it shows. The higher level G20 is not even as good as it IMO. Only the R11 and R11s are better than it. Also due to its mid trajectory it actually out performs both those better drivers into heavy winds.
