    hi all

Seems that to combat sandbagging, wgt has implemented  a new method of scoring regarding tier advancement. Does wgt have any plans to reveal the new scoring system and if these include scored games rather than ranked games, will long drives etc on scored games now be included on stats ?

i have seen scoring table on here somewhere...need x amount of ranked rounds +certain average to advance to next tier, seems this may no longer apply with the new changes.i would like to no if these new changes to rules will be made public

They never have and I doubt they ever will. The "charts" you've seen are best guesses by players based on actually going through the changes and keeping track of the numbers. WGT has always remained mum on the subject.

The step from tour master to legend can be worked out by:

    matchplay x legend% - √ place:1,2,3 ready go ¾  x 0.02stroke {divide by ♂wind mph} Multyply with ¾ where move up is either ☺ or☻

Or, Alternatively, relax and enjoy playing from the long tees.  A few rounds and you wont want to go back

thanks for that, ive hit drives much longer than my stats show while playing scored matchplay, also same with putts, but they arent recorded on my stats bar for longest drives/putts....surely this should change if scored games are to be included in deciding tiers

Search Sandbagging Change . There you will find the notification on changes to be made. The full details won`t be revealed by WGT, so as to keep players from finding the loop holes. Happy Swinging

...and no changes to the stats I suppose.

Icon once explained that there are too many differences to notice, e.g. the A/S procedure and the gimmes.
