    Hi everybody !

I am looking for some chart or something that shows the number of ranked games and the average score needed to reach a new tier.

Maybe it exists yet but I did not find it on the FAQ.

    Thx

Hi Hijeo, and welcome to the forums!

The requirements for advancing in tiers is not made public in order to prevent manipulation of the system. There are tons of educated guesses, though, and I encourage you to search through the forums for those threads. You can enter any key words in to the search bar on the right of this page and I'm sure you'll find some useful information  :)

Conventional wisdom is your 25 best rounds as a TP must be less than 65 to get to Master.  In case you are wondering, 40 best rounds as M must be less than 63 to get to TM and Legend is hit by 50 rounds as a TM that score an average less than 61.  All of that has been changed some by the new system that drops your average if you beat somebody of a higher tier. Some of the drops can be sharp (2 points is not unheard of after a couple of wins against legends).

    Keep this handy Pizza.

    • When your average score is equal or smaller than 100 you go from hack to amateur.
    • When it is equal or smaller than 80 you go from amateur to pro.
    • When it is equal or smaller than 72 you go from pro to tour pro
    • When it is equal or smaller than 67 you go from tour pro to Master
    • When it is equal or smaller than 63 you go from Master to Tour master
    • When it is equal or smaller than 61 you go from Tour master to legend
    • When it is equal or smaller than 60 you go from Legend to Tour Legend*

    and

    • you need to play at least 5 ranked rounds as hack before reaching Amateur
    • you need to play at least 10 ranked rounds as amateur before reaching Pro
    • you need to play at least 20 ranked rounds as Pro before reaching Tour pro
    • you need to play at least 25 ranked rounds as Tour pro before reaching Master
    • you need to play at least 40 ranked rounds as Master before reaching Tour Master
    • you need to play at least 50 ranked rounds as Tour Master before reaching Legend
    • You need at least 100 ranked rounds as Legend before reaching Tour Legend

Notice that those minimal number of ranked rounds are also the number of best rounds used to compute your average in that particular tier. So if you are Tour Master for example, your average is computed with your best 50 ranked round (that's why you need at least 50 rounds to move up).

That sums it up but the figure quoted by Shrude are, or were correct.

To get your scores down I would suggest you carry three decent wedges (not the stsrters) and dump the hybrid. Thi will save you a lot of shots every round.

Most importantly, enjoy your golf and play all courses and games.

Not sure where you're getting 100 from legend to tour legend from. It was 100 additional rounds when the new tier kicked in but 500 for your Legend average to stabilise. No-one as far as I know who made Legend after the changes has made Tour Legend yet although chris5214 has now got his average under 60.

Thanks for your info, SHRUDE, but be sure not to present it as fact. Remember - the complete factors for moving up in tier is not known to our community.
