Shot clocks for Stroke Play

  When playing with friends, I would like to see the shot clock removed.  I would also like to see the disconnections removed.  Like I said, this should be an option that you can select.  It is frustrating when you playing with friends, and they get booted from the game because of connection issues, or they get penalties because they are trying to show you some tips on what to do in the game.

  I like the idea of returning to a lobby as in MP and AS, makes sense. I also like the idea of no timer provided it is between friends, but personally I would never join an untimed game with people I didn't know - it may well take longer than actually playing 18 real holes and a chat at the 19th.. I used to play at work in the morning before I got busy with a friend, but often I would incur a penalty (my friend was aware of this before we started).

  Possibly a better idea would be to have a few time outs if required ie the clock is stopped.

  The other train of thought is if you can't finish a game, don't start it.

  well my proposition would be to make it select-able.  That way if it is between friends and people that you know.  I would never accept a match like that if I didnt know them, but if I did, I would hate for wgt errors to disconnect the game.  Had that happen to me while playing at cabo.  We both got WGT errors, and both got booted from the game before we even finished the round.

   

  Just trying to make it better when you are with people that you know.  I know in games with friends, sometimes we get to BS'ng in the chat and then say, oh ***...u got 10 seconds to hit the ball.

  I don't think it's possible (or if it is simple to implement) to have both lobby and not lobby just by a setting. I suspect the systems are pretty much intervines together, with either or choice.

  as for timers, I can bring it up.

  Im not saying not having a lobby.  Just maybe not have a "3" disconnection boots you from the game lobby.  Cause when that happens, it also doesnt let you finish the round.  

   

  Really sucks when you pay to play cabo, and your not allowed to play the whole 18 holes due to that.

  Perhaps this could apply as a selectable option, but only in Practice Mode?

  I found this, and only started playing in January.

  I am on a tablet, and Do not get any options.  There should be an option of no timer if you are playing with friends.  

   

  Has anything changed since your post 5 years ago ?
