3 woods off the tee

  Why if I hit a 3 wood off the tee and hit the fairway, does my driving accuracy get reduced?

  Andrew: Have you cleared your cache and browser?? Gotcha. Just kidding .

  You have to use your driver on those holes that call for the driver. I know it doesn't make sense but.........

  Yes.  IIRC, anything but a driver off the tee into the fairway (not green) will reduce your driving accuracy.

  Not really kosher, but the way WGT has it set up.  Sorry.
