I am playing Bethpage and it seems the game is set up so even with the wind and plenty of club you never make the green.  I know I am at an amateur status and don't expect to make the green everytime from 400+ yards out.  But, again, if you have a favorable wind and enough club you should make the green.

Am I right to stay the game is rigged so you have to purchase other clubs for more power.  Okay, onto the next topic, the one I wanted to write about in the first place.  I chip or pitch from 2nd cut of rough just off the green and inside 16 yds and always, always come up short.  Even if I use max power,

I don't understand the game at all in these two aspects.  I like the game very much.  I will say it again, as an amateur I don't expect to score low but I do expect to be given a chance to score well.

Any solutions from the developers of this game or other users.  Thanks for your attention and patience.

    Chip and Pitch Tips

That is a must read for learning how to use pitch and chip properly.

It is possible to shoot good scores with the 'free' clubs you just have to learn technique (where on the green to leave the ball, bouncing in the rough with TS to get close to a pin, etc.)

Do they want you to buy clubs? Of course. Do you have to? No.

    Happy hitting
