Not surprised if the following suggestion is on the board already:
Facebook offers many games in which you can post scores or challenge friends. The challenge feature in a particular bowling game, for example, allows you to bowl a round and then send it to a friend as a challenge. When the friend accepts the challenge and begins the round, only your score for the current and past frames are visible. Your score for the next frame is not. So, if I'm on the second frame, I can see my opponents score for the first and second frames, but that's it. The advantage is that the two players can be online at different times and still complete the challenge.
I'd like to see a Match Play option in which I can play in the way mentioned above. I play a round in the morning and send it to an offline friend as an "offline match play" . Later in the day, when I am offline, the friend opens up WGT, sees the offline match play round, and then starts the match play. On the first hole, he knows my score for that hole. If he beats it, he is up 1 going into the next hole. On hole two, he sees my score for the hole. He doens't beat it. Even up going into the next hole, et cetera.
Does that make sense?
