  I have been playing this game a long time now and as far as I was aware Match play has never counted towards your avg or Tier.

  I have recently heard ( not read I might add, maybe I missed it ? ) that Match play is now counting towards this and some people are not wanting to play match play games in case they make Legend.

  Please could someone clarify whether this is true or not . Thanks for your help

  That my friend is exactly correct..

  in a bid to combat sandbagging, match play games now have an effect on your tier or average
