Ryder Cup 2009 - GOODBYE!

   It's finally upon us .... nivlac & I will be playing our first match v TallAcePaul / Imcoola in a matchup of the captains.  Start time will be approx 1:45 Central Time.

    I have a proposal ... While I'm sure one of us will post a review of the match, I have an idea for a running commentary. I would be willing to . . um.. dictate if some could type up a play-by-play commentary. I use Skype  and I have downloaded  the Ventrilo voice chat.  If we had someone willing to  hook up with me , i could give constant updates to whomever was in my ear, then they could post updates here or on the mIRC site.

  OK, you wanna do it? Let´s see how it goes, maybe we will have one or two matches commentated on after all! For those following us, get in IRC at 7:45gmt/1:45central time and read live commentary on "the clash of the captains"! This is the link, which is also on the main page, under all the matches.  When you click on it, choose your username, preferably the same one as the one at WGT, and type in /join #WGT. Hopefully you we will be able to follow the match. Don´t miss it... I certainly won´t!

   I'm not so sure that Rusty offered to do this, but all he'd need to do is download Skype or Ventrilo ... i prefer Skype....  i should be up by 1:00 Central ...i can give whomever wants to be my typing fingers a call b4 the match starts.  Would much easier for me to talk , and someone else do the typing in mIRC and here.

  Also some other fresh news, the match between Coolswing/Slor and Thunderbird/Smoothswinger has been cancelled at the last minute and will now be played on Monday at 6:00BST.
