Ryder Cup 2009 - GOODBYE!

  Slor/Coolswing vs. Thunderbird/Smoothswinger is about to start. We don´t have any official commentary shceduled but we will get some live news coming in through somewhere, I can assure you that, so if you want to join us, come alongand talk to us while the match is being played!

  I will also be editing this post with news as it comes.

  In the end we are getting live commentary from Slor.

  Players A: Cool and Thunder     Players B: Slor and Smooth

  And just as it looks as though the tide is turning... USA regain their lead of one hole with just two to go...

  Two good tee shots at eight, Slor slightly nearer... tension mounts... it could be all over... or they could go all square to the last...

  And Slor, who had won the sixth to bring it back level now misses the putt, while Smoothswinger sinks it. A very entertaining match and USA have brought it back to one all!

  Even when we don´t have any official commentating shceduled I reccommend anyone interested in the competition to come along to the IRC, becasue we will usually have somebody telling us more or less what is going on, like Slor today.

  Good to see things getting back on track match wise.  Congrats to SmoothSwinger and Thunderbird for evening up the score!  Sounds like it was an exciting match with it coming down to a few putts on the 8th hole.  Well done to coolswing and slor for putting up a good fight.  Sounds like you gave 'em all they could handle!

  Looking forward to more results pouring in now. :)

  Our match has just finished, fantastic match which International team won 1up - full report to follow in the morning - its late here in the UK - well done Ryan and well played JALAII and Hightower3 who were 2 down after 2 but battled all the way, including an eagle 2 by Hightower on the 6th.

  Hi Guys,

  Fantastic job, Paul, Ryan - Lee and Zippy. Bad luck - Cool & Thunder - great effort though. 

  Cool and I are still waiting to tee up our first match. Will let everyone know when its going to happen.

  Go INTERNATIONALS - its a great start for us. But a long long way to go :-)
