Glancing at those 28s doesn't help, it's too far away. I've been lucky to shoot a one-and-only 29 lately, a surreal thing including an eagle at STA #14 and a bird at the Road Hole :)
A better kick IMHO comes from the course awards, see your profile. They show your best 18 hole score on each course and give you the chance to better them and get a virtual award for it! If you use the unlimited WGT tourneys for this feat you'll also gain some XPs which you might need later.
