It's hard to say as there is a ton of variety of tournaments.
Ready-Gos have a maximum of 50 participants. Weekly tournaments probably get a few hundred plays each, and monthly tournaments a few thousand.
I'm sure the Virtual Championships will have tens of thousands of players.
