I wish to wish all of my fellow combat and non combat veterans a hardy thank you for your service. For those like my self who served in combat during the past wars and conflicts, whether they were popular or not at the time, we served our country  to help keep the freedom we share today. Wear proudly that sense of pride.

Some didn't make it back and we remember those fallen heroes , the ones who fell by our side and the ones we read about that have fallen since then, on this special day and hopefully every day. They did not give their lives in vain. We remember the ones that came home with disabilities of all types, these heroes that fought and gave a part of themselves.

Please remember to help the disabled veterans folks on this day and everyday by doing what you can for them through the various support organizations. They need your aid and support.

(Mods I hope this message is ok.)

To all my fellow Vets. May the rest of your lives be filled with the Respect and appreciation you deserve. 10 years USAF here. Honorable discharge is something to be proud of. I tried to do my part, was married and enlisted when I didn't have to, draft number was 357. I couldn't accept that when a lot of my friends were drafted, figured I had to help.
