WGT are fully aware (by peeking at stats of folks playing uneven lies games) if they were to switch to uneven lies...they'd see the number of folks playing / or buying balls sink quicker than the titanic as players fight to get out the door lol.

Last time I saw Tiger Woods or Lee Westwood hitting from anywhere on a fairway...they didn't have to aim a mile left and hit extra distance just to land right of the green lol.

Needs tweaking........that's go to be the biggest understatement I've ever heard to date.

Sure uneven lies is fun....but in no way serious.

It's a close to real life golf as croquet is to baseball....hence I won't even waste ball life on it.

If you haven't invested ball life in it then your ability to speak about it is limited by your lack of experience. I've played it very often and find it much more realistic than always magically having a perfectly flat lie including in bunkers. I suppose we've driven this thread off course but we've stayed classy. ;-)

I PM'd Icon and he's informed me that all 4 rounds count towards the final score.

Get grinding ladies & gents :)

You're an extreme minority, CD. With the way it is now, Easy's point is extremely valid. The game would be reduced to a small percentage of hard core players. Once WGT gets it right and more realistic in the adjustments it might work. They just have a ways to go. Keeping it under the Practice wrap isn't helping, either.

    Agreed.

I've played it enough to know it sucks...which is why I will no longer waste balls on it....certainly not at $6 a sleeve.

If you or anyone finds it even remotely like real life golf then your real life game must be shyte.....because it is nothing like real life golf....not even close.

Uneven lies in rough and bunkers yes....no problem there at all......but shitty lies on fairways...a huge fail. Sure we have uphill and downhilll lies on fairways...but in real life they're no more a problem than a flat lie to be honest if you understand how to compensate your stance while addressing the ball.

Anyway back on topic and huge thanks to WGT for bringing us the Open Flashback comp.

I am in awe of people shooting sub 60 rounds on this course. The pin placement for these greens are rediculously hard. Props to all you guy/gals who can do it.

You waste 6 bucks for a sleeve of balls to pretend to have a 53 average and tell me about real life golf?  lol

real life golf dude............i'd be willing to give you 1 stroke per hole (18 stroke advantage) and still beat you into a nothingness....because if you think uneven lies is close to the real life game...you must be at least an 18 handicap possibly more :)

and who gives a flying toss about wgt avg...it means very little to be honest.
