possible new tournaments weekly ?

  would it be possible  to have the odd tournament weekly where we all have to use the same ball ? id really like to see us all use starter balls, so it then suits everyone, and not just the rich buggers with all the best equipment, not all of us are that financial, id love to see what these " so called expert players" shoot with starter balls on oakmont for instance, it wont be 57 thats for sure, perhaps the scores for these tournaments might be more realistic.

  You would shoot higher score. They would shoot less higher. You still lose. I know of one tour legend that shoots ONLY with starter balls for the challenge of it.

  Yep very true wouldnt make any difference just having uniform balls across a tournament it would have to include standard clubs as well and im not sure even that would even things out, but yes I see no point in even playing in a tournament when all the top half of the 70 all shoot sub 60s on the longer courses like Oakmount, just a case of picking a tournament on a course where its a more even chance of shooting a low score with lesser equipment than the rest of most of the players like St Andrews.

  x2....yep set your own up....all you ppl that think legends get it ezy are a joke..ive had it said to me that we get special privileges pfft, when u get there u will see how ezy it is baha..if we dont keep our head down and think it all out were dust....as far as balls go...once most legends play 1 round with those beginners balls they adjust and would still beat you..

  the main thing about golf is money , you go to a demo day at a driving range, try the newest clubs even without the newest balls and watch your game change,if we cant afford them then we are behind compared to those who can, just like here on wgt....
