you guys are missing his point. He is saying he gets no experience points for the match. You do get the win but no experience points. It has happened to me in A/S before.

    +1 BTB!

Furtheron, such fate in strokeplay would show up nowhere. You play the last putt alone, you get XPs for a single game only and the score history tells "course xyz nn strokes". Been there, done that.

This story supports my opinion not to play MPs for the sake of XPs.

    1) you depend on the co-players, they leave, you're lost.

    2) it doesn't pay as much per hour as single play.

MPs are a social thing, chat along, make friends. laugh and whine, be glad to have 20 strokes in 1 1/2 hour's A/S.

To play for scores / average is single play, to play for XPs is single play, too, IMNSHO.

If these are scored matches you are having forfeited to OP, OP would also be tiering up like mad.  I think there's something in the communication getting lost at the moment.  If I have a match forfeited to me from a higher tier, I lose at least a full shot on my avg.....maybe more.....leading to being tiered up faster than in the past.  I completely understand about the XP, and whatnot, but how long have you been a Master?  Or, have you been flying through the tiers lately?

A legend, even a terrible one like me, should never quit a game. Any one who has made it to the tips should be happy, win or lose. I don't get disconnected, and I don't quit, I enjoy the games. Shame on the pussies who can't stand to lose. None of those are on my friends list.

LOL...One hell of a good way to beat the old system. If someone can't drop their average to tier up using the old system way sure can now by playing the new one.  Win a Legend or higher tier in a scored match an poof down goes what couldn't be done before...Downside to anyone doing that to tier up is they still wont score overall any better then before.

.LMAO ...Now that's beating the system.

That's kind of the overrunning theme lately.  WGT is trying to eliminate sandbaggers this way...so they say.  But, they are tiering up a lot of players not worthy that can't compete at the same time.

Some say it's a money grab to sell new clubs to suddenly ill-equipped players.  Others say it's just backfiring because the sandbaggers are just opening new accounts and starting over.

Hard to tell.  But, if one wanted to beat the system, I suppose he could open a new account, find a Legend to forfeit games to him, and tier right on up with the starter clubs w/o playing a ranked round.  In fact, I'd love to see that experiment carried out.

Lol, just do it, I don't mind losing to prove a point. And I've always loved experimenting (bout the only thing my ex liked about me).
