Change this game to be realistic

  Use a calculator on rough percentages and then add that to the distance to the hole. if you do this you will usually choose a club that is too long. 

  example  Ditance to hole 160

                 rough % 30     160 x 30%=48      160 yds + 48 yds =208

  if you select a club to hit he ball 208 yards you will be long.

  Benny33 ... I'm not quite following you. Are you saying someone should use this calculation or not use it? I ask this, because you are saying that "if" you do this, you will choose a club that is usually too long. If that is the case, then what should it be?

  I would like anyone to explain this one.

  I landed in a bed of mulch It say 15/20 lie.pin was 185 yards out.took 3 iron .

  It landed 50 yards short.went in trap.Could not believe  it happened.! 15 tail wind by the way.  So I played  the same  course again,got to that same hole .took 9 shots to get to the same spot with the 15/20 lie 18 head wind this time.so I aimed left to avoid every thing.same shot went 195 yards ,,

  no one is my net nanny,i am stating the facts, and i am using maxtron 3 for 8 months and guess what still have issues, not always but there are glitches.

  This is one reason this forum is not much fun to be in. If you have to do that, then you must not get out much.

  maybe you just need to stay in more and practise. :)

  as for the game in general.....I think it's very realistic, remembering it's only a game....WGT have done a great job and are always trying to make improvements.

  I like how I say something about someone else, and it is turned towards me as I meant me. WTH? The word "YOU", right there is meaning someone else. Don't twist my words because you feel like it.

  WTH? I posted this to edit a post and it ends up a double post. Now, tell me this forum is not messed up. Still see a lot of threads going on for ever and never closed threads like normal forums do.
