  Although there is no option for this shot, you can work the ball from the right or from the left, on purpose, by hitting before or after the white line. You need to practice this so you'll have some idea how this technique works with the clubs and balls you use. Don't expect great precision, after all, you are missing the ding on purpose, but it can be done.

  I don't think that's what the OP meant...

  Using  Olympic as an example...If there's a right to left wind on # 10 you can't fade the ball around the trees. On # 16 with a left to right wind you can't draw your tee shot or your second shot.

  I'm using the examples from the back tees...

   

  What Joey is referring to is an intentional controlled pull or push and it works very similar to a draw or fade. And once you get the hang of it it works almost as well as a draw or fade.

  A draw or fade start off straight and tail off. The push or pull only curve due to the wind direction... or am I wrong?

  You are correct EG, but I have had this argument before on these forums and I will say again, it IS possible to draw and fade on this game, regardless of wind..

  A straight push or pull will move with the wind yes, but a draw or fade will curve in the air, either with or against the wind, as it does on a real golf course, doing it as per the picture on page 1 of this thread works a treat if you hit it in the right spot between those lines but it does take a bit of practice to get spot on..

  You lose very little distance with the draw, #2 Bethpage leaves me with a 110-120 yard approach just about every time unless I have a heavy headwind but then I just punch driver and it achieves the same result anyways, the fade loses a little more distance than the draw but not as much that it makes a massive difference..

  I agree with lizard as u can draw and fadethe ball intentionally. the stronger the wind the more i cut or hook the ball. like lizard says you have to practice the shot'

  A real golfer would like to work the ball in their favor and at least have an idea of where the ball is going to go. I don't like that fact that I have to hope that the ball doesn't over hook or under hook in situations where I need it to be right on.
