    I'm censored...

Before or after the posting is approved by the God(s) that be?

Might have something to do with the fact you called someone a sandbagger in a post 2 days ago (it was deleted since then) and posted that person's name.

If you're being moderated, it's because you deserved it. And you didn't do it for the first time.

LOL, I think it may pay to read the Posting Guidelines before posting in future

You didn't answer my question.  Does the email come from WGT at the time of the posting or at the time the posting is released from the moderation system?

    Thanks Icon.

The post you mention went through the moderation system and made it public AFAIK.  The points in that post are valid also.

I think you know not of what you speak here.  All new users of the forums are moderated.  I previously copied the text into my "blog" feature on my profile page if you wish to reference it.

I used censored earlier, that is wrong word in this case.

Yup, read the posting guidelines in full.  I see no explicit prevention of identifying a player on the forums?

The closest you could come is the don't post requesting disciplinary actions be

taken against a player.  I requested noting of the sort, only pointed out the player for others and expressed my frustration that WGT allow this rampant abuse of the "ranking system" to continue unabated.

    Hi brianusa,

There are two sections which cover this situation:

    INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE

Do not post anything that is, or could be, construed to be:

    • defamatory

    • “coded” or colloquial language that may allude to inappropriate language

    • initiating, participating or perpetuating harassment of defamation

    • typing in all capital letters, or abusing text format options

    and

    DISCUSSING DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS/REQUESTS

Do not post anything that is, or could be, construed to be:

    • creating threads with the intention of highlighting disciplinary actions taken against a

    player

    • creating posts with the intention of highlighting disciplinary actions taken against a

    player

    • creating threads or posts with the intention of requesting that disciplinary actions be taken against a player

o WGT takes forum moderation very seriously. If you feel another player deserves

moderation, please use our forum report feature or send our support team an

email: http://www.wgt.com/help-request.aspx. DO NOT make threads or posts

    with this information

All points in each section can be applied to this situation, but the highlighted parts are more relevant. Do not post on the forums if it can be construed as you bringing attention to a specific player who you believe is sandbagging.

If you have questions about sandbagging, or things that are sandbagging related, feel free to discuss them on the forums, but leave out specific names or any path that can be followed to a name.

    Stay classy,

WGT's use of defamation in this case is highly defective.

I'll remain classy and let you work out difference between private and public facts

I disagree but not to the point I'm going to spend money or justify my claims.

You need to make filing formal complaints against users "easier".  Some random URL, I have to dig out from 1000's of URLs I have seen over the past month doesn't cut it.  I previously posted about this but it buried by those would likely be reported.

Put some links on the profile page.  Would take much to develop a heuristic to investigate those accounts generating the most traffic for "offensive", sandbagger, "cheater", etc.

You better show me the same guidelines for my profile page while we are at it.

These forum guidelines are only applicable to the forums, and can be found on the right side of your screen under: "Getting Started", click "Posting Guidelines"
