Apparently you missed my main point...

    2DAMFLASHY:
6 whole wasted minutes on a test run...  what a shame.. geeeesh
Oh, a test run? Shouldn't this have happened before? Starting with 2:50' of completely silent bx, "avoidable" at the least.

And, 6 mins of the first half of the video, with 22 mins of structured presentation. Thus, 6 of the remaining 11 wasted, and more waste to be expected.

Plus, looking for real useful information, you'll find much more time wasted.

No information at hand on Merion, East or not East, "interesting", "cool" as the only comment on subjects, redirecting subjects to the forum which have been well discussed here... I understand now why WGT would avoid a transscript or summary.

    2DAMFLASHY:
man what a perfect world some people must live in

To expect the no1 man to have been alerted to the majority of community suggestions before he entered the community FACE ON?
Poor bugga, I know what i'd be doing in his shoes next time, I am sure the pizza boy has heard it.

    2DAMFLASHY:
every minute of basically a friendly gathering ..

Which was supposed to be an informative discussion based on community feedback.
Of which very little was addressed.

Chad became very embarassed early in the Q&A and stated he knows EXACTLY what he will change next time.
This aint a coffee and cup cake get together

    2DAMFLASHY:
i would sure like to see their PERFECT golf game they built ..where they obtained all this great wisdom ...
    .

Whatever, build a game, and allow the community to whine. Who cares if there was ANY feedback from No1, ultimately.

But we do care when when we are asked for our input and the majority of it was neglected, ignored, ill informed, to the No1 man.

But the interaction was offered. (yay....)

....It didnt have to be offered at all.

and, it fell very very short.

More embarrassment, poor preparation, ill informed speaker.

He did well to wade his way through it and noble to take an extra 10 mins.
I wonder why he took he extra 10 mins?

oh i know, because the previous 30 mins were quite enlightening hearing us request age old requests which his body language told us were valid requests.

He wanted more of these ideas, he could see more for his 'road map' than previously anticipated.. and FROM THE COMMUNITY

If only his community manager would close the chain of information which Chad cited.

There I do see the missing or broken link!

    "draw/fade ? .. everybody wants draw/fade"  .. (surprised look on face)

    just an example .. ^^^

i was a bit taken aback that Chad seemed surprised at many of the stuff mentioned ..

one key issue that flamed in the forums was addressed in that wins over higher tiers will be keyed down in terms of tiering up lower tiered players .. that was welcome news

maybe the mods should compile hit lists on subjects that are discussed regularly in the forum ? a priority list as far as feedback/suggestions/complaints are concerned ? seems pretty obvious .. i'm just wondering whether this might be a lack of mod-manpower ?

There is one of two things happening.

    1. Chad is unapproachable and hasnt the time for relevant and valid ideas from the community

    2. Community requests & feedback were poorly relayed.

i know which one i'd be banking on.

YankeeJim came to this comclusion very early. We dont need a Q&A at all, we need this list.

    Nail on the head.

Hint: WGT better do a better job and prepare a professional session next time.

Someday we will make you happy, Alosso, but then what will you post on the forums? ;)

Thanks for the feedback, we will make sure to "do a better job" and "prepare a professional session" next time.

For our first time using this platform, I feel a ~2 minute technical difficulty, followed by a flawless presentation is more than acceptable. The majority of our community has spoken - we did a fantastic job. Thanks for the support, everyone, and we will be sure to improve the experience in the future, just like everything we do.

I'm patting myself on the back on this one.

    Stay classy,

    SHRUDE:
Personally i felt that all the posts we have made in all these "MrWGT Chat" threads ASKING for our questions was a sham. Ignored.

Did you watch the same chat session that I did? We answered four questions, taken from the thread I created to gather questions. This was an appropriate number, considering time constraints. We may make changes to our format in the future (in fact I'm sure we will) but even you, SHRUDE, cannot doubt that we asked for questions from the community, gathered them in a thread, and selected a few to answer.

I appreciated all the feedback, but let's all make sure we are accurately recounting the events of the chat when giving criticism.

    SHRUDE:
I want to thank Pizza boy for his effort with this and those involved in putting chad live to us as well.

You are quite welcome, sir - that's what I do - I make the experience of communication between the community and WGT more enjoyable. We can perfect this experience together, with your continued participation and feedback :)

    Stay classy,

I thought the session was handled OK. I think some of the topics discussed was a little overboard

    1) a golf bag ( come on, why? )

    2) a caddie    "       "      "

What was interesting was the change of ball when you run out, in my opinion all that would have to happen is you ball inventory would pop up and you decide which ball to use.
