  just watched rory win the dp tour championship what a player awesome finish by him and by justin rose who shot a 62 -10 rory starts next year with a new set of clubs should be interesting im sure he will be fine congrats to macilroy.

  Is Rory back.....    -7 and leading the fist round (sofar) at the Hsbc comp in China

  ....and would you believe it... Phil M has put 3 balls in the water after being -6

  hmmm, maybe his contract expired and he went back to his old clubs.

  I said months ago somewhere on this site, that Rory is a 'peaks and troughs' kind of player, always has been and probably always will be, that's just him. He's been in a trough since he signed that new contract, this 'may' be a sign he's climbing back out, but it's early days yet.

  I think it is more of a , wow I got money to play some bad clubs, and it takes him time to adjust to them.

  Faldo never came back from his mizuno change.

  And Tiger was much more grr before his Nike's too.

  why change if it works ?? oh there is always the money ?!
