Just rented the lvl. 79 burners and noticed right away the 9 iron coming up 5-10 yards short on shots into the green. Also the 7and 8 irons somtimes would come up short but then somtimes spot on. Maybe some kind of bug or error?  Also I DID clear the adobe storage settings for wgt and still this happens!!  any one else??

Yes,used in practice rounds with very little wind, they just seemed to be really off. Just wondering if it has something to do with the free rental?? or some weird bug or  programming error,as it stands definitly will not be buying.

Have you properly calibrated the clubs to know how far they go.

My 9 goes 150 off the tee. 135 full spin.142 from the fairway and 133 full spin with nike and calloway Dballs.

Was trying to do that but for example the 9 iron with NO wind and spin dot in middle of ball, from the fairway into level green about 135 out. I hit the 9 iron full power, rated at 135 yds. and keep coming up 5-10 yds. short ,often not even getting on the green. Yes i'm not useing the best ball but most of the other irons useing the same ball, the yardage numbers ARE very accurate, seems to mostly just be the 9 iron for some reason.

also depends on the ball u use .. remember the Burners are very unforgiving & there is a power loss penalty for missing ding by too much .. a little less so with Nike distance balls

I use the Nike 20XI-S or the Callaway Tour i(s). Back when I was playing a lot of CTTH, they were absolutely deadly. The day I made legend my GIR was 73.13 (I recorded it because I was afraid of what would happen to it). My second shots are now with longer clubs, of course, because of the longer tees. Still, my GIR has risen to 74.94. The flip side of that coin is I'm still hitting the greens, but nowhere near as close to the hole.

For any approach from the fairway I use full BS and add 5 yards (4 on St.A). Frankly, I just love 'em. I DO hit the ding about 50% of the time and I have an accurate swing ruler.

Not tried the Burners yet,not many ranks to go and I will for sure..I use the K15's for C.T.T.H and the G20's for Stroke..My G.I.R is 78.18 and I am only a very average player, only playing since mid July..so going by my experience,my choice of clubs must be ok..I know these sets to be very consistent if that helps you at all.

It was mostly missing the ding that did that to me, but yes I noticed.  Once I got a little closer to the ding, I could play them "ok."  A few days with them and I'd likely be fine.  I hit some amazing long shots with them that made me say, "No freakin' way my G's can do that!"  I just can't quite handle missing the ding as much as I can get away with when I play my G's.

That said, the Burners will without a doubt make you/me/everyone a better player in time.
